Georgemma is an artist, researcher & architectural practitioner.

I am an interdisciplinary practitioner, working across research, architecture and art.

My artworks are vibrant and joyful, spotlighting memories and visions of communities and nature. My mediums include canvas paintings, murals, illustrations and hand-painted trays.

My research and architectural practice focuses on landscape-led design and bio-based material development. Within a PhD at the Sustainability Research Institute, UEL, I am developing an innovative building material made from Common Bulrush (Typha latifolia) that could be grown on rewetted lowland peatlands in the UK.
